How it works

From document to onboarding task in four steps.

01

You provide the sources

Paste URLs, upload PDFs, or connect your knowledge base. Initium reads and processes the content before generating the plan.

02

Initium extracts task-relevant content

The AI identifies process steps, tool instructions, and role-relevant information from your documentation.

03

Tasks are grounded in your actual content

Generated tasks reference your specific processes — not generic best practices. Each task traces back to a real source.

04

You review before activation

Check the generated tasks, edit or remove where needed, then activate the plan when ready.

Common questions

Before you decide.

What happens if a document is outdated?

Initium generates tasks from what the document contains. If the doc is outdated, the plan may reflect that. Review generated tasks before activating — and update the source doc when processes change.

Does Initium store my documentation?

Documentation content is processed to generate the onboarding plan and is stored within your workspace. It's not shared with other organizations and is never used to train the AI model. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use internal documentation that requires authentication?

For authenticated internal tools (Confluence behind SSO, internal wikis), you can export the relevant pages as PDFs and upload them. Direct authenticated integrations are on the roadmap.

What if my docs are in Notion?

You can export Notion pages as PDFs and upload them. A native Notion integration is on the roadmap.
