Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Initium (“the Service”), operated by Initium, Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Initium is a B2B SaaS platform that generates role-specific onboarding plans using AI and turns them into structured, trackable workflows for managers and new hires. Features include plan generation, task management, team collaboration tools, and lifecycle analytics.
3. Accounts and Workspaces
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your workspace. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Each workspace is isolated to a single tenant — your data is never accessible to other organisations.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to the Growth plan features. No credit card is required to start a trial. After 30 days, continued access requires an active paid subscription. If your trial expires without upgrading, your workspace enters a read-only state — your data is preserved and restored immediately upon upgrading. Data deletion only occurs upon explicit account closure or a deletion request; see our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Billing is currently handled via email and invoice — contact support@initiumapp.com to upgrade. You may cancel at any time by notifying us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other tenants' data
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service in whole or in part
- Use the Service to build a competing product
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process your data as a data processor on your behalf, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all data and content you upload to the Service. We claim no ownership over your onboarding plans, hire data, or company information. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service during your subscription term.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Initium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by you in that period.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@initiumapp.com. Upon termination or an explicit deletion request, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, giving you time to export if needed. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and with an in-product notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
